To our valued customers,
In line with the government directive all SBI Group staff have been asked to provide proof of vaccination or medical exemption in line with key dates specified. Our subcontractors (including drivers) will be required to do the same thing as a part of their business structure, and this conversation has been discussed with subcontractors to SBI. Our drivers have also been asked to have their evidence available on them for any site that requires this to be supplied.
Some of you have asked about your requirements as our customers attending our SBI site. We will not be asking for vaccination records for clients attending site. Each business in a mandatory field will have their own requirements for viewing and recording vaccination of staff. Each business is responsible for their own staff and procedures and we have no requirement through the government mandate to check customers at this stage. Should this change we will issue further instruction. Until then, please liaise with your companies HR mandates around Covid-19 and Covid Vaccinations.
Our procedures for customers remain unchanged from the last few months. Covid safe practices are in place and we request you follow these directives, specifically:
- Wearing masks on site (we have spares available for those who may forget theirs) unless you have a medical exemption;
- Using hand sanitiser (available in our weighbridges);
- Practising social distancing; and
- Abiding by signs on maximum capacity in areas such as air locks.
Please don’t attend site if you feel unwell or have any symptoms. We ask you to follow these directives to protect yourself and our team.
If you have any questions, please speak to our friendly staff.
